Back and Alive

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 5, 2009, 6:24 AM

Dear All,

Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I've been busy with work and personal life issues. Well, I'm back now and will be uploading some new things very soon. Possibly opening commissions up again after I've finished the current ones.

I'm looking to take a vacation with my boyfriend over christmas break, but I'm not sure exactly where to look for the best deals. I grabbed a few brochures from liberty travel last weekend, the different booklets seem to have some quite different rates. One of the pages said a round trip ticket to paris is over $600, while most paris round trip tickets I can find ( on orbitz) have always been around $400. Most of the packages on there are for 20-40something days. I would LOVE to take a long travel vacation in europe, but I simply don't have that many vacation days left this year, and I can't be away from work for too long, as there are plenty things I need to take care of from time to time for work =/

If anyone knows any good places or agencies to look at for great vacation packages of around 7-10 days please let me know~ I hear now is the time to travel because it's cheaper than usual due to the economy and the fact that less people are traveling in general.

Hope you all are doing well~ =) Take care

MY TABLET IS BROKEN~~!!!! T_T (sobs in a corner)

Journal Entry: Sat Aug 22, 2009, 4:55 PM

So... I've had this problem before, where the tablet starts acting like a mouth. What I mean is, usually the tablet area is proportional to the computer screen, this means if you lift your tablet pen from the top left of your tablet and puts it directly on the bottom right, the cursor on your computer screen should jump to the bottom right of the screen. Whereas with a mouse, you can lift a mouse and put it down again anywhere and the cursor on the screen will start from wherever you left it when you lifted the mouse. Those of you who have tablets will know what I'm talking about here.

Usually the times i've previously had this error, I just unplug and replug the tablet and it would be fixed. Another error is when the pen loses sensitivity and whatever you draw on the screen will just be a big thick line that's the maximum width of the photoshop pen tool you've selected... This error is happening at the same time. This could usually be fixed by restarting photoshop mostly. I've tried both methods and none fixed any of these problems.

But then again... I've had this tablet since 6-7 years ago. It's probably the most ancient version of wacom ever.. It's a 4x5 Graphire, you can't even find used once of these being sold on ebay anymore 3 years ago due to how ancient this model is. It's served me while but maybe it's about time it gives up on me. :sniff:

When I get home tonight I'm gonna try again to fix it, if I've determined that it's forever dead and unfixable I'll be browsing wacom's site for a new tablet. I'm leaning towards a medium intuos4, what do you guys think?

I can has new season's resolution?

Tue Apr 14, 2009, 10:25 AM
Well, since I probably forgot to put this on my "new year's resolutions" list, and it's too late to do so anyway. I'm putting this on my new season's resolutions, for summer, even though it's not summer yet.

I've been going to this abs training and dance arobics class every monday, for 2 mondays now (lol). But since they only offer it on mondays, I'm going to try out the Kick boxing classes on tuesdays too, starting today! :D Will update on how it goes :giggle:
